Lisa Sargent lives in Carmichael with her partner-in-life, Jim, and their kitty, Bobbie. Creativity bubbled up after my retirement from the State of California. She loves writing what just shows up and sharing with other generous souls.
Sometimes, on the way to something else,
Things feel worse instead of better.
Change doesn’t promise better
It only promises different.
What if – in order to move to something new
Something needs to die?
A habit, a perception, what we think we know?
What if it isn’t worse…..just not what we want?
What if it is different, not bad?
Sometimes, we need to tear the house down
In order to build something new, something better
So hard to let go of the old house
We have memories there, even if the roof leaks,
And there is mold under the kitchen sink
And we no longer use the garbage disposal
Because it quit working.
There comes a time when
There is no more denying
a time of reckoning
Those we love will help us through
If we will let them
So hold out your hand
And grasp the hand waiting for yours
Walk into change, the reality that is waiting
Come! Join us in creating what is next
It is here, longing for you.
